The "Recover File" component has a wizard style interface, and it is very useful. But other components don't have that. If those components had at least an option to select the disk, the app would be very easy to use.

If you just want to recover photos and videos, you can use the free version of DiskDigger. I have used the free version to recover some lost videos... I love this app...

Here is how to use Recieve SMS Online to bypass SMS verification:

2. Select any phone number from the website, then enter the number as your mobile number on the "Phone number" box:

3. Send the verification code.... ( If that number is not working, skip to the next one)

4. Click on the selected number on the website.  You will be directed to the inbox:

5. You can find the verification code in the disposable inbox. Enter the code in the verification code field, then click verify code.

6. The account should now be verified.

Hackers Using Facebook Messenger To Deliver Malwares

Researchers at TrendMicro have identified a new malicious Facebook campaign that distributes a rouge Chrome extension via Facebook Messenger. 

Of course, the Google to banned the use of any extension which is not available on the Chrome Web Store. Unfortunately, initiatives like these have not deterred cyber criminal efforts.

Christopher Talampas, fraud analyst at Trend Micro, received a message instructing to access a page claiming to offer appealing video content.

Talampas clicked on the link. It led him to a site with a page designed to mimic the look and feel of Facebook. The fake Facebook page automatically downloaded a file named Chrome_Video_installer.scr. 

"This supposed video installer file is detected as TROJ_KILIM.EFLD. This variant attempts to download another file - possibly the final payload - but the site is currently down. However, it should be noted that KILIM malware are known to be malicious Chrome extensions and plugins. KILIM variants have also been observed to spam Facebook messages and cause system infection," Talampas said in a blog post.

VICTIMS

Facebook users from Philippines (36%), Indonesia (6%), India (6%), Brazil (6%), and the U.S (5% ) are mostly affected by this particular attack, according to the feedback from the Smart Protection Network.

"In this attack, users might be fooled into clicking the link because of three things. First, the message comes from a Facebook friend, not a stranger. The message also addresses the user through the name he uses on Facebook. This makes it appear less like a random, spammed message. The informality of the message may compel the user to read the message."

TrendMicro have reported the incident to Facebook -- they marked the message as spam.

WIBR+ is an android app that is capable of cracking WiFi passwords. It was designed to test the security of the WPA/WPA2 PSK WiFi networks, but now it is widely being used to crack weak WiFi passwords.

It supports two types of attacks -- Dictionary Attacks, and Bruteforce Attacks. It also allows you to use custom dictionaries!

How To Use WIBR+

First, download and install WIBR+ on your android device (download links are at the end of this article).

Open the app, you will see a screen as shown below.

Tap on "ADD NETWORK", you will see the nearest WiFi networks.

Select a WiFi network from the list, then you will see a screen as shown below.

Now select the type of attack.

If you want to use the Bruteforce attack, select "Bruteforce", and then tap on "CONFIGURE BRUTEFORCE".

Then configure the attack according to your needs.

For a normal attack, select the first four options (lowercase, UPPERCASE, Numbers, and Specials) and then save the configuration.

Now click on "ADD TO QUEUE", the WIBR+ will start cracking the password.

That normal attack I mentioned before is insane....

Yes.... because, the number of combinations is growing exponentially with password length. That's why there are options like Custom alphabet and Custom mask. If you know that the password is something like admin and two digits, you can set the mask to admin[x][x] and select the digits alphabet. The app will try all passwords like admin00, admin01 through admin99.

If you want to use the Dictionary attack, after selecting a network, select dictionaries, if you don't want to use the pre-installed dictionaries, you can use custom dictionaries, all you have to do is, click on the "ADD CUSTOM DICTIONARY" button and select your custom dictionary file(s).

Note: Dictionary files are just text files containing a list of passwords (one password per line).

You can get dictionary files from the following sources for free:

Then select the imported dictionaries and then tap on the "ADD TO QUEUE" button. The app will start attacking the network...

The attacking process is very slow because of the way android handles WiFi connection. According to the developers, 8 passwords/minute is a good speed.

Tip: WIBR+ is a battery eater, so always carry a Power Bank with you!


If this app is not working for you,

- you are trying to crack a network with weak or unstable signal or in a very "noisy" environment (i.e. many networks on the same channel)

- you are trying to access a network that is using MAC filtering (only explicitly allowed devices could access that network).

- you don't have enough patience  :).
